Clean Effectively
First do a visual inspection of the area, removing any furniture you might have pushed up against it for the season, or if there are lots of bushes and shrubbery around.
Once it’s cleared away, take a soft brush or broom and gently remove any snow and ice build-up from in and around the vents. Since your vents are low to the ground, be sure to also dig a trench around them to prevent snow from building up again too fast.
